Rigvedeeya Bali-Vaishvadeva Vidhi -

Creative Commons License

This is the nitya bali-vaishvadeva vidhi for rigvediya people. This vidhi is curated by panDit Mohit Bharadvaj (@vvaayu on twitter). I typed it out as per his indications and instructions. This deals with four out of five daily yagnas i.e. deva-yagna, bhoota-yagna, pitru-yagna, manushya-yagna which everyone with a home and a family should do it daily. Preferably it should be done twice a day. Because we cook our meals (and consume our meals - main meals not nibbles in between) twice a day - Lunch and Dinner.

Ideally this is done in noon - when sun is directly over head. After madhyaanha sandhya. It is difficult these days. Second option is to do it in morning after the daily cooking is over. We offer the food that we have cooked in home to devatas, mahabhootas, our pitaras and guests (if any) at  home. Then the food is offered to cows, ants, crows, dogs too. After that we are supposed to consume the food that we have cooked.

It is a beautiful ritual. The philosophy that we offer food to all and everyone around us before consuming is very fulfilling. Again, this is a nitya-karma.. That is, just like daily Sandhya, pooja, tarpaNa, this too has to be performed daily.

Think to know about any Nitya-Karma is - It is to be done regularly - just like we bathe daily, breathe regularly, walk-exercise regularly. There is no special benefit of doing nitya-karma. But there is adverse effect of NOT doing daily nitya-karma.

A home where daily vaishvadeva happens - the vaastu, the bhootas, the plants-animals and other bhootas, the ancestors, the devatas reside happily in that home. Guests visit that home happily and bless the annadaataa residing there. That happiness of all those ancestors, devatas, bhootas, visiters, plants and animals in vicinity - is the real fruit of doing vaishvadeva and deva-bhoota-pitru-manushya yagna daily. One of the mantra is for all the diseases - we ask the diseases to stay away from home. One another fruit of doing vaishvadeva daily is health in general remains good of the family.

In preparation - take some cooked rice (which is preferably cooked by the lady of the house - after bathing). If such a rice (one cooked by grihiNi AFTER bathing) is not available (late baths etc), take uncooked rice-grains.

Add some ghee to the rice (or rice-grains) and mix is well. This is the anna (food) that will be the aahuti for devatas and pitars in following yagna. Sit facing east.

लौकिक अग्नि - Laukika Agni - There are two types of agni in vaidika Hindu dharma. One agni which is ignited by brahmins while chanting vaidik hymns. That is called Mantraagni (मंत्राग्नि). The method of doing that is very elaborate and usually most of the people (except students studying in vedashalas and acharyas therein) do not know how to do that.

Therefore, a normal agni (using match-sticks) can be ignited. We use Dung-cakes (with some ghee on it) and a karpoora (camphor). We place camphor below dung-cake and ignite it with match-stick. As the cake catches fire properly, we chant following mantra to do the "aavaahana" of agnidevataa in that fire - thus making it sacred fire.

Agni-devataa invited in this manner is called Laukika-Agni.

Once Agni-devataa is established in his aasana (the fiery kunDa), we can start the four yagnas. First is Deva-Yagna.

In Deva-Yagna, we give aahuti to various devatas. Agni devataa carries oblations offered by the host from this world to the world of devatas (and pitaras).

Agni is married to two daughters of prajaapati - namely Svaahaa and Svadhaa. It is these wives of Agni-devataa who do the actual transmission of aahutis.

Svaahaa carries the aahutis to devaloka meant for devataas.
Svadhaa carries the aahutis to pitruloka  meant for pitars.

Hence the mantras meant for aahutis for devatas end in svaahaa.
And the mantras meant for aahutis for pitars end with svadhaa.

While giving aahutis to devatas, make sure you do with with middle two fingers along with thumb - anaamika and madhyamaa. Make sure you do not touch the aahuti with first finger (tarjani). Tarjani+thumb is used for giving aahuti to pitaras.

For each mantra, take pinchful of rice and offer it in the agni to the concerned devataa while keeping that devata in mind.

Note : Don't overdo it and add too much of rice on agni - fire might get extinguished and then it is pain to start it again since everything is hot by now and difficult to touch. One small grain (or few grains) of cooked rice is enough. Bhaava is important, not quantity.

While saying इदं न मम, one has to release each aahuti in agni.

These 16 aahutis make up the deva-yagna.

In Bhoota-Yagna, the aahuti are not placed in fire. But in a flat utensil (like a plate or a paatra). There is specific sequence and position of placing the aahutis in that manDala.

The sequence of placing the aahutis in the plate is seen in this diagram. The positions are numbered. The numbers are analogous to the mantras below. Mantra with number 1 should be placed in position 1 in diagram. Aahuti for Mantra number 32 to be placed on position 32. So on and so forth.

Again, few grains in pinch made by anamika+madhyama and thumb per aahuti. Don't overdo it.

These 31 aahutis make Bhoota-Yagna.

For this yagna, the Janeu should be taken on right shoulder - i.e. praacheenaaveetee (apasavya). Using First finger and thumb, place the aahuti for pitars at position 32 in above diagram and do namaskaara to them. In mind, ask all your ancestors to have the meal cooked by their descendant today and be satisfied.

This is technically not an aahuti. After pitruyagna, Janeu is to be made savya again (i.e. on left shoulder again). One washes the hand (i.e. take a spoonful of water in hand and let it go. Place the drop of that washing water at position 33 in the diagram while chanting mantra below. This is for all the diseases - so that they stay away from your home.

Manushya-yagna is for guests. For this, put your janeu around your neck (like you would wear a necklace or a maalaa) and take all the remaining rice and place it on position number 34 while chanting mantra below. This portion can be given (or mixed with) to any guests in your home on that day (or someone working in your home). If there are no guests in home on particular day, all these rice grains in the plate can be fed to birds or cows.

By chanting this mantra, we ask agni-devataa to go back his abode as the yagnas are over and all the aahutis made.

In case, some mistakes were made during the ritual, you ask for forgiveness from the gods

NOTE: Until this point, everyone can (and should) do this daily. Even those who have both their parents alive, can do deva tarpaNa and rishi tarpaNa. If your father is alive, while doing sankalpa, you can only mention deva and rishi tarpaNa and omit pitru-tarpaNa. If your father is alive, you should skip everything below and go directly to visarjana and and phala-samarpaNa.

After this point, following mantras are to be recited ONLY BY THOSE who's fathers are no more in this world. Ones with fathers alive SHOULD NOT chant the following mantras. Their fathers much do this following ritual daily.

tarpaNa to the ancestors. Where it is XXXX, you have to take name of gotra and the relevant ancestor. Again - sharma/varma/gupta/daasa applies. Take as many names as you can remember or wish to. Tarpana of one's father and grandfather one MUST do. There are many relations with different names. Tried to include as many as I could think of. I am sure I have left out a few. If you wish to do tarpaNa for someone that I have missed, please find what that relation is called in sanskrit from google (or just use the name of relation in your mother-tongue) and do it. Doing it is important.

Note : Take names of only those who are deceased.

How Hindus saved French Aeronautical industry by voting in Modi in 2019 - Hindu French history of alliance

Romans and AngloSaxons are traditional enemies. France (Gaul) was a natural enemy/competitor of Germanic AngloSaxons. Current bout of prem is about the fact that India single handedly ensured by buying Rafale that non-American/anglosaxon fighter aviation industry stays alive. They were equally arseholes as Brits in their colonies. And both French & Brits are at the root of modern middle eastern problem.

But for Hindus they were always helpful (becoz of their enmity with Brits). Since 1600s. Even Shivaji spared French missionaries in Surat (Abè Carrie). Correspondence of Hindavi Swarājya and French empire has been relatively speaking quiet strong since Balaji Bajirao’s time. It strengthened even more after Panipat-3. Nana Phadnavis was diplomatically intimate with the French.

Even after revolution and “The Terror”, it continued. Napoleon and his correspondence with Tipu and later Marathas is well known. Napoleon even planned to come to India from Egypt to fight against the Brits. It was too far fetched a plan but he actually thought of doing it.

No one was buying Rafale. France insisted on keeping their strategic independence by getting out of Eurofighter Project (was supposed to be jointly developed by Ger-Agra-UK-Ita). France withdrew and decided to build a fighter for themselves based on their Mirage 2K platform. That is Rafale. Eurofighter had a decent order list (three countries were going to buy it). Before India, no one was buying Rafale. Dassault would have folded if Pappu’s “chowkidar chor hai” slogan worked. Pappu was clearly paid by Eurofighter and Anglo Lobby to screw French.

By voting Modi in, Hindus ensured strategic independence of France in global stage. France understands this. It is only Hindus who do not understand the global importance and worth of their vote-block. A section of Hindus always tries to screw that vote-block from within. What fate Hindus averted in 2019 by voting in Modi is something we tend to forget often.

It is not that far nor it is averted. What is happening in WB is just a trailer of what awaits Hindus. AngloSaxons will not give us tech for making our own low bypass Jet engine. French will do that at some price. Price will be more Rafales perhaps. It is worth it I guess. Our IAF fleet is severely depleted. And our IAF boys have always been happy with Dassault Platforms. Just like there are powers who wish Hindu block should not form or should disintegrate, there also are powers which ardently wish (for their selfish interests : that’s how almost every relationship is in international politics) that Hindu block forms and strengthens. 😊

Job of a good politician is :

1. to convince internal Hindus to strengthen the Hindu veto in India

2. To assure those who positively wish for longevity of Hindu Veto that it is here to stay

3. to convince the opposition that they too can benefit from it if they drop antagonism

This applies within : vis-a-vis Muslims and Xians.

That is what RSS is doing. That is what Savarkar said - “if you come, with you. If you don’t come, without you. If you oppose, in spite of you - we will achieve our goals”. And this applies in international politics as well.

Interesting tidbit : the Guy who defeated Hindavi Swarājya after years of battle on fields of Assaye in a very closely fought battle (as per his own admission - the toughest battle of his career) is the same guy who defeated Napoleon 10 years later on Waterloo - Arthur Wellesley

There are two more angles here. It is not just Rafale, but Scorpene Submarines and Areva Nuclear Reactors too which we have bought from French - saving their shipbuilding and Nuclear Industry too.

Second angle is of Biotechnology.

Pfizer only markets and manufactures the vaccine. The real R&D is done by a German biotech company called Biontech. Hence Germany is opposed to releasing the patents and Angela bibi is dissing and cussing India - she knows Hindus will get mRNA delivery technology very soon. Everyone is Shitscared of the COVID strain 1.617 (whatever) which is rampaging in India.

Remember Indians were almost unaffected by the strains that screwed the west. When this new strain reaches the west (matter of time) they are worried about how will they fare. In current times, Covaxin is the strategic weapon of Hindus (pardon me if I use the word weapon for describing a life-saving vaccine) on which outsiders have control/lever on whatsoever. It is not high-tech but is works. When Bharat Biotech’s nasal vaccine is approved and if it shows decent efficacy, it is going to be a game changer.

In west, schools have been open since beginning. Why? Because kids at home means productivity goes down by 50% (one parent has to be with child). Kids must be out of home. 😀 The demographic which is now left from herd immunity (either by infection or vaccination) is children below 18. That can be the breeding ground for subsequent waves.

If Nasal vaccine works, it can be very quickly deployed on children like polio campaign. Since Germany decided to go in bad books, French trying extra hard to be on good books.

Thoughts on what if French invaded Germany in Sept 1939

what if France had invaded Germany just when Germany invaded Poland? in 1939?

War would have been over in few weeks, not 6-7 years. Wonder what was France thinking in September of 1939.

They had divisions lined up on Maginot line anyways. They squandered a very good chance. In September of 1939, France had 110 divisions on Franko-German border. Germans had 23. If all those 110 divisions were mobilised to enter Germany, history would be different. Hitler must have had balls of titanium to pull off this stunt. The sheer brazen audacity of it all is amazing. And the crazy bugger pulled it off.

By end of September, Poland was done and dusted. All armies back on a French border. Window for quick war over. Yeah well. Polish were brave and had no other choice.

British and French declared war on Germany promptly. But only on paper. Poles expected those 110 French Divisions to cross Maginot while they delay Germans

What they got was “kaDi nindā” of Germany from Brits and French.

Story of Gokla Jat and Shambhu Chhatrapati and how Satnamis, Jats and later Marathas fought to save and reestablish dharma in India

On 9th April 1669, Shri Kāshi Vishwanāth Mahādèva was desecrated by Mlenchhas upon Aurangzeb’s order. It was a day of solar eclipse. People had gathered to bathe and offer pūjā to vishvèvara mahādev. That is when suddenly Mughals attacked amd dismantled the temple. The kufrashikan (killer of infidels), butshikan (breaker of idols), ghazi (religious Islamic warrior) that was Aurangzeb was doing what was right thing to do as per his religion. Killing Hindus and desecrating their temples.

The keshavdèva temple of Mathura (the last iteration built by a Bundela king named Narasimhadeva) too was razed similarly in the Ramzan of 1670. The original vigraha of kèshavadeva is buried beneath the mosque built by Jahan Ara in Agra. He is still lying there somewhere. Hundreds and thousands of such tales. Countless temples broken. Countless vigrahas desecrated. Countless Hindus killed.

Meanwhile Hindus were resisting. In their capacity, they were fighting.

Today’s thread is to pay them an homage. Especially a Jat from Tilpat named “Gokla”. Abdul Nabikhan was the man under who’s supervision Keshavdev of Mathura was desecrated. He began extracting Jizya from Hindus around Mathura. This Brave Jat leader named Gokla gathered around 22,000 Jats and started attacking and looting Mughal areas near Agra and Mathura.  Gokla killed Nabikhan. The score of Mathura was partially settled.

They looted Sadbad and formally rebelled against Aurangzeb. Mughals brought in Artillery (the bane of Hindus, shows why Bhau was insistent on artillery in 1761, anyways). Hindus didn’t have cavalry and Artillery. The wives and daughters of these Jats first committed Jauhar. Either killed by the hands of their own husbands. They entered burning pyre.

Jats attacked. But it was difficult fight anyways. Gokla was captured alive. Just like Chhatrapati Shambhu 19 years later, Mughals tortured Gokla to death - chopping an organ a day. Gods know how many such Gokla and Sambhaji were tortured this way. But Jats did manage to kill 5000 mlencchas that day. They attained vīragati and became hutātmās. The Satnamis of Narnaul too rebelled in this manner. They destroyed many mosques in retaliation.

We understand the gravity of Rāmadāsa Svāmī saying - सकल पृथ्वी आंदोळली, धर्म गेला... when those times are mentioned. Hindus have gone through worse than Abrahamic hell-fire for last 1000 years to keep their dharma alive. It is now time to win back all that was lost and repay the debt with appropriate interest. That will be the right tarpaNa for Gokla. For ShambhuChhatrapati. 🙏🙏

On phālgun amāvasyā of 1689, Sambhaji Maharaj was murdered by Aurangzeb. Here is the report from maāsir e ālamgiri:

“Mushrik, jahannum-nasīb, harabi qāti-up-tariq kāfir’s son was sent to deepest hell along with Kavi Kalash as per rulings of Sharia on 11/03/1689”
He was tortured from 03/03/1689 (phālgun krishNa Saptami) until 11/03/1689 (phālgun amāvasyā). Skin flayed & hanged on walls of fort. Eyes gorged out. Tongue cut. Hands, legs cut. Ears, nose cut. Countless burns, cuts, bruises all over the body. Standard Sharia manual I suppose.

The charges were “looting Islamic cities, waging war against Islam, Killing Muslims” among few. They finally beheaded him on phālgun amāvasyā. His head was desecrated and tossed around. Next day is guDHi pāDvā. It is Chaitra krishNa pratipadā. It is Hindu New Year. Marathi people raise guDHi (a consecrated kalasha hoisted with saffron flag on roof to welcome new year). Aurangzeb chose to behead Sambhaji Maharaj deliberately on this day. So his head was hoisted on a spear as a mockery of Hindu guDHi (new year) next day.

It was a statement - An abhishikta vaidik Hindu king was killed by Islamic king. It was supposed to be a triumph over infidels.

So many heroes laid down their lives.

This thread will be incomplete without mention of devi Ahilyabai Holkar. She funded the (re)construction of many a desecrated Hindu temple. Where she should, she did it at the exact spot. 🙏 In places like Kashi, due to opposition of local Hindus, we lost the chance to correct this mistake in 1744 when Peshwa camped outside Kashi and ordered demolishing of the abomination that now stood on the site of vishwanath.  Local Hindus fearful of massacre by Nadirshah 4 years earlier asked Peshwa not to do so.

Relenting, Peshwa left Kashi and returned to Pune. After Panipat-3, Islamic military power in the Indian subcontinent was finished. Hindus were resurgent again under Madhavrao Peshwa, Mahadaji Shinde and Ahilyabai Holkar. That is when the reconstruction of Hindu temples started in earnest.
Ahilyabai funded construction of new Mathura and Kashi temples besides the desecrated original.

But the task still incomplete.
